Volunteers work side-by-side with Seniors First staff to provide an extra dimension of supportive services for the seniors.

Seniors First volunteers are people who give the gift of themselves and their time to do something for a cause in which they believe; people, who by their actions, are ready to help where help is needed; and people who are ready to serve where services are wanted.

The volunteer program is designed to give you an exposure to senior needs in a social services environment. You will be placed in a specific department chosen to complement your particular area of interest and accommodate your personal time schedule. Many volunteers serve as the only link some of our seniors have to the community. Volunteering contributes significantly to the quality of care Placer County seniors receive.
