In 1971, Transportation became our first direct service program. Volunteer drivers transported seniors to local health appointments. In 1991, the program expanded to include disabled adults under 60. In 1994 client destinations were broadened to include grocery shopping, banking, library, beauty shops and other needed destinations.

Annually volunteers drive over 85,000 miles work over 6,500 hours and transport over 400 clients.

Due to scheduling of volunteer drivers, we need a minimum of 2 days notice.
