Since 1984, the Senior Nutrition Program has provided hot noon meals to both homebound seniors "Meals on Wheels" and at seven countywide congregate nutrition sites; Senior Café’s. Annually, we serve over 95,500 meals; all meals are produced at our central kitchen in Auburn and supported via van to locations throughout the county.
Volunteer staff includes 115 Nutrition Site Aids and over 100 Home Delivered Meals Drivers.

This program is funded by Area 4 Agency on Aging, USDA and recipient donations. We also provide noon meal contract services to Placer County HeadStart programs, and are available to other senior programs and/or other programs.
