Seniors First is a Senior Housing Referral Service. We serve families who are searching for care and housing options for elderly loved ones. Our mission is to provide families with information and referrals to care communities that meet their needs. Seniors First has developed business relationships with over 400 long-term care communities serving all of Placer County as well as North Sacramento County.

Because selecting out-of-home placement for a loved one is a complex and often overwhelming task, we have experienced Housing Experts who help clients sort through the many considerations available today. These options include Assisted Living Communities, Alzheimer's Care, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Respite Care, Retirement Communities, Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly, Homecare, and Hospice Care. This personalized service is offered at no charge to consumers, as many of our care communities reimburse the company for its services. Since it's founding in December 1997, Seniors First has helped thousands of families.

We are compensated for our services from facilities chosen by families. We are one of very few non-profit Placement Agencies in the nation providing these services. The income derived from this service goes directly into funding our primary program, SeniorLink, Placer County Senior Information & Assistance.
