Do you know that "ISOLATED" seniors are two to four times more likely to die earlier than their socially connected counterparts?

The FRIENDLY VISITOR PROGRAM in PLACER COUNTY was created to decrease loneliness and isolation of our older adults!
We are looking for Volunteers who enjoy:

• Helping others
• Feeling needed
• Reminiscing
• Sharing Resources
• Giving back to the community
• Developing new friendships

Volunteers will be trained, oriented, supported and supervised.
We try to match visitors to a compatible isolated senior.
